Allwinner Releases Quad-Core A31 Kernel Source Code(April, 2013)
Several months after announcing its breakthrough quad-core A31, Allwinner Technology has now released A31’s kernel source code in compliance with the GPL. Kernel developers now have free access to the kernel source code from Rhombus Tech’s git repository and can start tweaking away immediately on A31 devices. Expect a lot more custom A31 ROMs in the future!
Allwinner Technology’s open source model can be traced back to its single-core A10, whose kernel source code was enthusiastically released to the open source community.
